The Receipt feature is controlled by your charity in the Cloud EFTPOS portal. If the feature has been enabled, and your terminal supports Digital Receipts, read on to understand how it works.
How receipts are delivered
After a transaction is complete, the donor will be prompted if they wish to retrieve a receipt. No personal details are required to be entered into the terminal. Instead, if a receipt is requested the terminal will present a dynamic QR code for the donor to scan with their phone. Scanning the QR code will launch a web browser on the phone to retrieve the receipt.
How it works
After a Donation is complete, press [Yes] when prompted for a Tax Receipt. The Donor can then use their Smartphone camera to scan the QR code.
Re-issuing a receipt
To bring back the QR code link for the last donation, follow these steps:
- Enter the Software menu by holding the ‘Power’ button down for a few seconds.
- Tap the [Last Transaction] button which will show the QR Code link.
- Follow the prompts to exit.
